Yvette came to Families First in 2016 with more than 20 years of varied experience in working with children and families and has more than 11 years of administrative experience in clinical settings in Florida and New York.
Prior to working at Families First, Ms. Branch was life skills development coordinator at Home Safe, program manager for mental health and substance abuse at the Jerome Golden Center, and oversaw substance abuse program development for PANDA (Pregnant And Addicted), a residential program for women with drug addictions. She has also served as an adjunct instructor in the graduate program at Webster University’s Glades campus and as a counselor/case manager specialist at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office where she supervised master’s level interns from Barry University’s MSW program.
She received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from City College of New York, MS in special education and science education K-12 from Long Island University, and her PhD in marriage and family therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale is pending.
