Ms. Schmidt has been Broker Associate and Vice President of Cornerstone Realty since receiving her Florida Real Estate Brokers license in 2007. Her responsibilities in Real Estate are focused on leasing, management, and sales of several million square feet of Class A ++ office and retail properties for over 28 years in South Florida.

Professional Experience:

Ms. Schmidt was previously Vice President of Bentley Forbes and managed the largest Multiuse project in Broward County on Las Olas Boulevard known as Las Olas Centre. Previously, she was Vice President of Property Management of Trammell Crow of South Florida which managed over 10 million square feet. For over a decade, Ms. Schmidt managed a portfolio of over 1.5 million square feet of Class A Office and Retail for Crocker Realty Trust. She also supervised the tenant improvement process and oversaw major renovation projects in Boca Raton, Cypress Creek, and Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. In addition, she oversaw leasing of various class A, medical and retail bays as the Owner Representative. Ms. Schmidt is best known with her employees and tenants as focused on productivity and efficiency in the workplace, and customer service as the number one priority throughout her career.

The BOMA Building Owners and Managers Association Property Manager of the Year award, the NAWBO National Association of Women Business Owners Vista Award, the Key to the City of Boca Raton, the CREW Hartglass Vision Award for Community Service, and the Broward County Emerald Award for the Green Initiative. 

Professional Activities:

CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women): Ms. Schmidt was a founding member of the Ft. Lauderdale chapter in 1996 and remained a member for 15 years with over 10 years as a Board of Director and President in 2000. During those years, she and the Board established the Tampa and Naples Chapters. Seeing a need for another chapter to encompass the north Palm Beach area and further north for future development, she and three others created the CREW Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, CREWPBTC.org Chapter in 2010, and served as President 2012 and is currently on the Board of Directors.

Ms. Schmidt joined the Board of Directors of Families First of Palm Beach County on January 24, 2023.
