Infant Mental Health Clinician
Families First of Palm Beach County is seeking an Infant Mental Health Clinician who has completed training, is in the process of completing training, or is interested in being trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and has knowledge of working with children 0 to 5. Experience working in the court/foster care system is preferred. The clients served will be families with young children who are presently in the foster care system and are working toward reunification, community families with children 0 to 5 who need therapeutic services, and individual therapy with parents of young children age 0-5 who need their own therapist for support. Must have an ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams in conjunction with the Department of Children and Families, the Healthy Beginnings System of Care including partner agencies, and/or the court system. Bi-lingual preferred and strong writing and clinical skills a must. Must be willing to do home visits and clinic based work.
We are looking for an individual who will also work with us on program outreach in the community to help us expand our newly formed Infant Mental Health Department. Must be willing to work flexible hours based on clients’ needs and administrative meetings. Experience working with children and families where there is mental health, developmental and/or behavioral concern is extremely helpful. Licensed as a LCSW, LMHC or LMFT is preferred, but Registered Interns actively seeking licensure will be considered. 401K, Health, Dental, Generous PTO, EOE, DFWP, E verify, Level II Background Screening.
