“I wanted to first say thank you to Families First for helping me in 2011 when I was about to be homeless. At that time, I was very sick with a heart issue and could not work. Through the program, they took away the stress of not having a place for me and my three children so I could concentrate on getting healthier and being able to become independent again. Families First had several programs that helped me to be more stable. I still have heart issues, but I was able to find a work-from-home job and soon was able to buy my very first home.
