Behavioral Health Services is seeking a per-diem Clinician (Spanish preferred) to provide therapeutic and consultation services as an enhancement to the Behavioral Health Services Program to high-risk pregnant women and new mothers of children 0-5. The objective is to identify, assess, triage and develop a treatment approach to address issues such as: depression, and other mental health challenges and stressors that may arise as a result of being pregnant or from recently having a child. The goal is to reduce the compounding risk these bio-psychosocial factors will have on healthy parenting and child development.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or related degree (LMHC, LMFT; Registered Interns working towards licensure will be considered)
Minimum three years’ in utilizing various clinical modalities; therapeutic approaches that include experience in at least two of the four following clinical areas: Individual treatment for anxiety and maternal depression, family therapy approaches including dyadic work, play therapy.
Comprehensive and strong clinical foundation in attachment theory, trauma, infant/child (0-5) and adult development (including maternal depression)
Experience in home visitation with a background in prevention and intervention services to the 0-5 age population
Knowledge of and sensitivity to service populations, cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
Experience in teaming with staff; including case consultations and providing staff training.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed
