Each year Families First recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the most-challenged children and families of Palm Beach County. We do so with the Harriet Goldstein Award, named after a long-standing board member who was a dedicated social worker and advocate for children and families.
The board this year selected Julie Cummings, a philanthropist and advocate for vulnerable women and children. Her network spans the foundation world, both public and private, and extends in the universes of both policymakers and academia.
She believes in serving her local community and invests in research that lays clear the issues facing women and children in our local community and throughout the state.
